Events

We love our beautiful space and are very thankful to be able to share it with the Spokane community. We welcome visitors for worship, tours, and events throughout the year, including events put on and sponsored by local organizations. As Spokane's most beautiful church, St. John's receives many questions about hosting galas, classes, various events, and weddings at our location. These occasional events, usually for nonprofit groups, are hosted at the discretion and approval of the Dean of the Cathedral. 

As a parish of the Episcopal Church, all weddings that take place at St. John's Cathedral are done within the context of our religious tradition according to the rites of the Book of Common Prayer. Additionally, as a sacramental community, marriage is offered to those who are stewards in good standing within our local church—meaning regularly attending and participating for a substantial length of time. All weddings that take place at St. John's are at the discretion and approval of the Dean of the Cathedral and are officiated by clergy of the Episcopal Church.
