St. John’s partners with many local and regional organizations to meet the needs of people in our community. Here are some of the ways you can get involved.

West Central Abbey

The West Central Abbey is a sacred place in the heart of the West Central neighborhood where all are invited to co-create justice, joy, compassion, and peace. They are particularly interested in creation care, community organizing, spirituality and the arts, and table fellowship. Every Wednesday, our neighbors in the West Central neighborhood throw a dinner party with take home leftovers for whoever walks in the door.  Free clothes, toiletries and other items are available. The Cathedral partners with this ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane in a number of ways.
