Spiritual Growth

Sunday Adult Forum. The weekly Sunday Adult Forum at 10:00 a.m. in the Great Hall of Jewett House, part of our regular Christian Education program during the program year, presents speakers on a variety of topics relating to spiritual growth and living out Christian values in the real world. The Sunday Adult Forum often features a guest speaker and usually provides an opportunity for discussion.

Mid-week Bible study is offered Wednesdays at 10:45 a.m. in the Conference Center immediately following the regular weekly 10:00 a.m. celebration of the Eucharist in All Saints Chapel. 

Lenten Family Evenings. Enriching programming for all ages is offered Wednesday evenings during Lent from the Wednesday after Ash Wednesday through the Wednesday preceding Holy Week. Each evening begins with a celebration of the Eucharist in the Cathedral followed by supper in the Great Hall, then the program for the evening. 

Education for Ministry (EFM) is a program of theological education-at-a-distance of the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. Students sign up one year at a time for this four-year program. It covers the basics of a theological education in the Old and New Testaments, church history, liturgy, and theology. Students meet regularly, usually once a week, in seminars under the guidance of trained mentors. The program grants a certificate at the completion of the four years and 18 Continuing Education Units for each year's work.
